He didn't, but it was still an unthinking stereotype which has now poisoned my child who was innocent of such barriers. Makes me glad they are racist really - God knows what he'd pick up from them.

I hate the gender stereotyping and had a similar rant on a forum today as to why chocolate wrapping labelled "not for girls" is seen as acceptable. Wouldn't be if it were labelled not for blacks, or not for blind ppl would it?

But apparently it's alright because it's ironic. :(

Big, coming up six, has in the past excluded boys from her games because they are boys and I think I've finally got through to her that I find that unacceptable. I think she picked it up at nursery.
