Oh no, he's highly intelligent, but he muddles his English in hilarious ways that if you didn't know him you'd think he was an imbecile... hm... *bites tongue* I suppose that's the difference between being brought up in a culture and forever trying to understand it's nuances from outside. He laughs about it all though. He sometimes reminds me of Del Boy though with the things he comes out with ... :P
