Interestin' site.

The bit about Islam isn't about terrorism, it's about peace. A puzzle wrapped in an enigma.

Millions of muslims are like you. Love, peace, tolerance etc etc etc. They don't get the press coverage which is grossly unfair.

On the other hand non-muslims worry - even if they think more my way - about the thousands that are in some kind of dark ages with their thinkin'. Hangin', stonin' and stuff. It happens.

I can't identify those dicks with muslims like you and others I know.

I'm a bit dumb I know but I really worry Islam's bein' used by all kinds of prats (bit like Christianity was around the Crusades - and more lately by Bush n Bliar)

Guess all we can do is say screw the nutters - Islamic or Christian or whatever - n just look to the good'n's.

Like you.

Almost got philosphi thingy there!!

Good site though

Inshi whatsit (sorry no good at this stuff but you know what I mean)

Hey D,

Yes, I will have photo. Am a little discouraged. Seemed to lose a lot the first five workouts, then my back acted up again. So, had to slow down the number of times I worked out. Will try again tomorrow am. Definitely smaller than before. Thanks again!!

Erm. Am a bit stomach crunched by the boycott Danish products thing on the Islam site...to what end? It's not being thought through. It's just a knee-jerk adolescent reaction. We better all throw the lego out then. Those who've heard me rant about racism in Denmark (also as Fanny Buckshuckle on the radio) will know that I think that there is a lot wrong with the general mentality here. However I left England because it was hostile to women and children (meaning we weren't safe in our beds at night or on the streets or even in traffic amongst other things). There is shite all over.

My current crusade is to promote not tolerance, but efforts to really see that we are all in the same boat. We are all Earthlings. I have met many easy going, awake and balanced muslims (and christians etc) but I've also met a lot of 'baying for blood' psychos who wave the banner of Christ or Whomever. My 22 year old sister (who I am like a mother to) lives here too and refuses to mix with Danish people ,and her friends mainly come from muslim family's...she reads the koran and doesn't drink and tells me my kids are a blessing from Allah. She also does other stuff too. Knowing her (young) muslim friends and speaking to them about their perspective and going to a school that was mostly muslim as a kid in an innercity of England meant that muslims are not strangers to me. But Danish people are different. They are naïve and inexperienced when it comes to other 'cultures'. They haven't got a clue about racial or religious equality, but I'm sure there is a chance they can learn because they also want very much to be globally acceptable. The Danes are 20 years behind Britain in terms of being 'politically correct'.

You've got to understand that most Danish peole are terrified of muslims...TERRIFIED...not just because of what they read in their crappy newspapers but also because they haven't been able to cope with the fact that their tiny little country (less people here than in B'ham) is now changing so fast...all their security is out of the window and they are not coping well. The immigrants who come here (like myself) are given no choice: mandatory danish language lessons, integration courses etc. If we are here, we must integrate fully. It is the law. That is the way the Danes deal with different cultures..because they are SH***ING themselves.

Those cartoons were stupid and ignorant and offensive. The general attitude here is that way too about immigrants. However, we have to give em a bit of slack. Trust me, talking from where it is happening, people have changed because of this. Should we boycott all muslim country's products? Should we cut them off? Shall that be the next step? Nobody has any idea what it is like to live in Denmark with the current climate...there are so many people changing, cringing with embarressment over what has happened...you have to give THE PEOPLE time. Let me sort em out. Boycotting Danish products? Oh. How very 'effective'. (Sarcasm). Do we want peace or do we want a bloodbath? Do we want mutual understanding or do we want a bloodbath? Do we want our children to be able to play together or do we want a bloodbath? Having said that...I have problems understanding the Swiss and the Swedes....xxx P.S: D - Is alright I say this I hope??

Whilst I myself do not boycott Danish products and by and large I think this is a personal choice issue since I do not know anyone who is, I still respect other peoples' rights to do so. That is, effectively, what living in a pluralistic society is all about. And just as I don't much like what was printed not because of content but because of the hatred that it fed off, what can I do? I have to lump that just as much as you have to lump some people wanting to boycott products. Pluralism is about agreeing to live with stuff we don't like for the sake of everybody having the Divine right of conscience. It happens. Don't get chewed up over it.

I do think that consumer boycotting is a VERY effective way of getting your point across. I don't want to give money to someone who is, in the end, going to do me harm. That is insanity. It has been shown across the board that consumer pressure does indeed work.

No 4D you will not be having bacon sarnies here when I adopt you. Cooked pig stinks.

Point taken. I spoke to my jewish lady friend today and she thought that the Danish boycotts were a good idea..because it will be effective at showing the worlds disapproval. Personally I would appreciate it if Denmark was also boycotted for the unholy amount of pig farming some of them do..if you do want to eat Danish bacon 4D, you might want to bear in mind that the animal you're eating has never seen daylight;)

I live and learn. xxx
